Setup Filters
![]() Filters are used to screen out junk mail or place mail into specific
folders. Filters are very easy to setup. You select the type of filters, apply an action and optioally select a folder to store the message. The following filters are supported by Air Mail: From - the address of the user. eg: bob@annoying.comTo - whom the message is to. eg: itchy@simpons.comSubject - the subject line. eg: TestingOrganization - the organization line. eg: Toysoft Development Inc.Others - any text. eg: Power AmigaThe type of actions are: NONE - Do nothing. This is a quick way to disable/enable a filter.Delete it - Delete the message. Into Folder - Store the message into a specific folder. Reply To - Reply the sender. The match may or may not be case sensitive. Check the check box if you want it to be case sensitive. Note that in the Others filter only the body of the message is searched. In the example above any message you receive with the word "Power Amiga" will be tagged as a filter and the action is applied on it. The rest of the filters are searched on the message header only. A Filter report is generated and displayed after all the messages has been retrieved from the mail server.ButtonsSave - Saves current filter. Delete - Deletes selected filters. Cancel - Cancels or closes filter file.
